In order to provide the highest quality care on a sound basis, we have developed convenient payment options for you to choose from. Prior to proceeding with the treatment, fees and financial arrangements will be discussed with you. For the convenience of patients we are a Direct Billing office. A limitation is that we only accept insurance payments from the primary policy holder.
This means that if you have two dental insurances we will only accept payment from the first and the rest will be the patients responsibility to pay in full. We will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your secondary dental benefits. In order to submit to the secondary policy, you will have to wait to obtain the explanation of benefits from the primary policy outlining what was paid to the dental provider. Generally, the secondary policy will pay you directly after these items are submitted in 5-7 business days. We will also assist you with any manual paperwork at the office but these payments to the patient may take longer to receive.
Please understand your benefits package with regards to all fees, services covered and annual maximum limits. We can assist you in finding these things out but it is ultimately the patients responsibility to know their plan. It is also common for the fees at a Dental Clinic to be different then a specific insurance provider. 100% coverage DOES NOT always mean the entire treatment cost is covered; the patient is expected to cover any differences from their insurance.
